This is partly an emotional reaction - a desire to reassert one&#039;s freedom of choice after being constrained in so many ways when using Windows and Office. But I think it is also partly due to a logical preference for &quot;best of breed&quot; rather than a monoculture.</description>

Yes it is the offline mail client problem, yes it is the SPAM, yes it is the intrusive ads and yes it (was) the storage.

I didn&#039;t know about the UNIX history though, so that IS also interesting.
