Like yourself I sometimes have to administer (Windows) servers. Just recently I wanted to move a site from a 32bit Win2003 box to a 64bit Win2008 box. Sounds easy enough - but it wasn't. I encountered countless issues relating to database setup (this site was using Access) and DSN related issues and UI nightmares, and while I did my best I admitted defeat in the end (after 5 hours) and ran the site on another 32bit machine where it worked perfectly in minutes...
