I've been keeping an eye on reports of this beastie for a while ... there are some tantalizing glimpses on this Russian site:
http://www.ferra.ru/online/mobilis/73845/
(feed it through Google translate for some delightful Ruglish).

This French blog seems to show quite a different machine: http://www.blogeee.net/?p=156 ... which may just be because it is a newer prototype, or it may suggest that the different models of Eee have different architectures.

I take your point about lack of Bluetooth support ... but USB Bluetooth adaptors are cheap enough and driver support shouldn't be a problem.

The bottom line is that this looks like a usable lightweight laptop at less than the cost of my PDA ... why would I not buy one?

Cheers, Daniel.

I wonder when it will be available. Some say Asus is announcing it too soon just to counter the OLPC.
