		<description>You draw the parallels between WinFS and SQL Server 2008, which causes me to wonder (cynically again) if the real reason that WinFS was pulled was because Microsoft realised they could make more money in the long run by selling it as part of a standalone product.  

Even if technical issues were at the foremost, I&#039;d be very suprised if these considerations didn&#039;t play a small part in the reckoning.</description>
