Question mark on <p></p>

Hi.
If there is alone <p></p> tag, without text there is added question mark in <p> tag>
Just like this:
Some text
[enter]
[enter]
Some other text
Will output:
<p>Some text</p>
<p>?</p>
<p>Some other text</p>
Is this known issue? How can I get rid of this question mark?

Sorry. It wasn't HTMLEditor problem, but PHP one.
