Strange problem

I have a strange problem with the HTMLEditor on a project.

I've placed it on a form and it just doesn't works. It shows a white square on the place where I dropped the control, but shows no scrollbar and worst of all, shows no data at all. Remains just that white square.

I execute code that adds HTML using the DOM and it doesn't give me any error, but just doesn't show a thing.

I've used almost the same code on a prototype I've made to test Tim's control and it works pretty fine, but on the actual project that it must be implemented it doesn't show up.

If someone have find a similar problem, please, share it with me.

Thanks to all,
Paulo

No, never had that.

If it is just a white square, it sounds as if the initHtml routine is either not being called, or is failing. This gets called in the OnParentChanged event handler, which normally fires when the control is added to the form (in InitializeComponent).

You could try adding the htmlEditor project to your solution and stepping through the code. I'd step through initHtml and also the methods it calls such as CreateDocument in HtmlSite.cs. Then you can tell us which line is failing, if any.

It's curious though that you added HTML using the DOM - that implies you got a valid HtmlDocument to work with? If you got this from the htmlEditor's Document property then it must be nearly working.
