Thank you for a really clear article in this months copy of PCW. I've set up<br />
 PHP4, Apache and MySQL on Windows 98 machine. Will be setting tommorow.<br />
Then upload to web site.<br />

Recently set up a dedicated PC for Linux so will test on that to.<br />

Keep up the good work, really enjoying using PHP.<br />

      <description><![CDATA[I'm not sure what you mean when you say you couldn't edit common.php? What happened when you tried to edit it?<br />

I have to admit, this online Phorum is on BSD and the other one I have set up is on Linux. However, if both PHP and your database connection is working, I don't see why it shouldn't go OK on Windows.<br />
