From a distance it does not really look like Lego:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gadgets.itwriting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/image.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"image\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/gadgets.itwriting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/image_thumb.png\" width=\"404\" height=\"696\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you get closer, the construction is more noticeable:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gadgets.itwriting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/image1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"image\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/gadgets.itwriting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/image_thumb1.png\" width=\"404\" height=\"537\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and if you look inside it, the tree illusion disappears and it just looks like a curious Lego construction in green and brown. Someone put a lot of work into this.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gadgets.itwriting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/image2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-right-width: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"image\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/gadgets.itwriting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/image_thumb2.png\" width=\"404\" height=\"304\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Update: according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.camdennewjournal.com\/news\/2011\/nov\/standing-st-pancras-international-worlds-largest-lego-christmas-tree\" target=\"_blank\">this article<\/a> it is \u201cthe world\u2019s largest Lego Christmas tree\u201d, contains 600,000 bricks and 172 branches, and took two months to complete.
