Next year\u2019s event will be at the Fira Gran Via, a modern venue with 240,000 m<sup>2<\/sup> of floor space, four times more space that at Montjuic.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>It is needed; this year\u2019s MWC was over-crowded, with every inch of the site taken up by stands and so many people that it was difficult to get from one hall to another. Nevertheless I am sorry it is moving, since the Fira Montjuic is a romantic venue that pleasantly contrasted the technical content.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gadgets.itwriting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/image.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"image\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/gadgets.itwriting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/image_thumb.png\" width=\"404\" height=\"305\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gadgets.itwriting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/image1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"image\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/gadgets.itwriting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/image_thumb1.png\" width=\"404\" height=\"370\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That said, no doubt many unofficial events will still take place in the old part of Barcelona, like Huawei\u2019s Device Night, spotted on the way back from another event.
