I thought I should grab it before it gets changed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.itwriting.com\/images\/beeb-survey.gif\" \/> <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe BBC was surprised by the lack of response to its latest Internet survey\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The serious point: now you have another reason not to trust web surveys.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update<\/strong>: The BBC\u2019s form is not completely daft: it says \u201cat home\u201d and you might be on the Internet at work or in a caf\u00e9. Still, that\u2019s going to be unrepresentative of the 30% \u2013 it is exactly the sub-set which is already proven to be Internet users, whereas we most want to hear from those who are not and need to be \u201cpersuaded to go online\u201d.
